Summer Fete
A huge thank you to everyone who supported our first Summer Fete this
year. It was good to have so many people come along to make the
event such a success. Thank you to those who helped on the day,
donated prizes, baked and brought produce, allowed us to borrow
games and equipment. Thanks also to the doggies and their families
who took part in our mini dog show, a very popular event!
Harvest Festival
Our next event will be at Harvest Festival service on October 12 th
11.00am, with a bring and share lunch afterwards.
All donations of food will be given to Ryedale foodbank. Please come
and join us. We welcome children in church, and have a children’s play
area.

Foodbank donations
We had a great response over the summer to requests for donations of
food for Ryedale foodbank. Their organizer Sue Fitter has written to
thank those who donated, as it allowed the foodbank to provide 75
family packs this year. Sue has also said that they welcome donations
of toiletries and cleaning products. The foodbank also welcomes
donations of dog foods which Sue says helps some families to be able to
keep their pets. So please keep the donations coming. The letter from
Sue is by the donation box in the Church.
